An attractive package including hourly wage, incentivised structure based on team targets, retirement fund contribution and commission on product sales. Equipment and coaching attire are provided. Flexible leave arrangement, short and long periods tied in with school holiday breaks. Earning potential range: $45,000 – 65,000 HKD + /month (starting with 25-30 hrs a week).

Working alongside Head coaches and Tennis Directors the successful candidate will need to implement the ATA programme at a high standard across all levels.
Position Overview
Australasia Tennis Aces (ATA) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Professional Tennis Coach (minimum 3 years coaching experience) to work across one of our residence clubs, and international schools in Hong Kong.
This development coach focused position will work across two venues
International school: delivering the tennis programme to both boarders and day school students from players new to tennis to performance based juniors.
Residence Club : Delivering range of club sessions from junior programme, Junior and adult league players, ladies clinics, match plays, events and private lessons.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver our programme with the goal of creating a fun, inclusive and stimulating playing environment for players of all ages and stages. Relevant training and guidance will be provided.
- Facilitate coaching of holiday camps, school week training programmes, Junior and Adult programmes, private lessons and specialised programmes.
- Build quality coaching relationships with players, the club staff, players’ parents, as well as the coaching team.
- Help develop and improve the coaching programme and enact coaching practices that connect with players / parents and maximise player participation and retention.
- Timely administrative duties.
Requirements
- National or recognised Tennis Coaching Certificate / qualification level 2 or above.
- Minimum 3 years coaching experience
- Passion and interest for development and grassroots coaching
- Current Criminal record check / Hong Kong Sexual Conviction Record Check (or your country’s equivalent)
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Preferred Attributes
- Ability to work with individuals from grass roots level to performance players.
- Experience working in British private schools.
- Able to communicate effectively with players and coaches and management.
- Be able to liaise independently with clients regarding lessons, camps, social tennis, etc. and build relationships that facilitate the acquisition and retention of clients.
- Is professional, has high personal standards and works with integrity.
- Demonstrates initiative and commitment to improving the Club, its programmes and ATA.
- Able to play tennis at a high level.
- Fluent in English
